Home care is for everyone: young and old, families with or without children, the elderly and all caregivers
In addition to our general district nursing, a competent team of nurses in specialist care also focuses on care for people with diabetes and cancer (oncology). The nurses provide guidance and support to clients with diabetes and cancer through advice and information about various health issues such as nutrition, medication intake, side effects of the treatment and the use of medical aids.
It is also possible to make use of palliative care. Palliative care is a form of care that is given to people who are incurably ill and have to be assisted in the final phase of life. Our goal is to improve the quality of life in the final phase of their life and our staff offers assistance with social problems.
We also support people with the use of chronic ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). We provide care and support people with a stroke (Cerebro Vascular Accident or CVA) and stoma. Our specialized nurses will teach you how your stoma needs to be taken care of. We also provide wound treatment and offer medical pedicure.
To be eligible for specialist care, you will be required to submit a number of documents. For more information about the care request, please refer to our page about the Care Central.
